I graduated from AUM in 2013 with my bachelor's in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I stayed at home with my children for 7 years and then decided I was ready to start my teaching journey. I was a long-term substitute in pre-k at Prattville Primary and then I was hired to teach 2nd grade there. I taught at PPS for 1.5 years and then decided to move to Wetumpka Elementary. This is my 1st year at Wetumpka Elementary. I have been married for 12 years to my husband Matt. We have 3 children. Lainey, our oldest daughter, passed away at a month and 8 days old due to heart abnormalities. Our son, Harrison, is 8 and in the 3rd grade. Our daughter, Natalie, is 6 and in the 1st grade. We love hiking and camping!
