Hello!  My name is Danje' Washington, and this is my 1st year teaching at Wetumpka Elementary! I've previously taught 1st grade for 11 years, and I am so excited to be on this journey of teaching 4th grade! I so happy to be teaching your child this 2025-2026 school year!

My husband and I live in Wetumpka with our three year old son, Jaden. I graduated from Alabama A&M University with my bachelors in Elementary Education in 2011, and I graduated from University of North Alabama with my masters in Elementary Education in 2013. I love all things Harry Potter, Pokemon, and Auburn Tigers (War Eagle!). In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family and find ways to improve my teaching craft.
