A little about Ms. A. Jones

I’m Andria Jones, a mother of two lovely boys, an educator, and a school counselor dedicated to helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. I began my career as an early childhood teacher after earning my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Alabama State University. Over the years, I’ve taught across multiple grade levels and most recently transitioned into school counseling after completing my Master’s and Educational Specialist degrees in School Counseling at Auburn University Montgomery.

Today, I serve as a school counselor at Wetumpka Elementary, where I provide academic guidance, career exploration opportunities, and social-emotional support to ensure every student has the tools they need to succeed. I’m certified in Early Childhood Education, Professional School Counseling, and LETRS, and I’m passionate about creating equitable, student-centered learning environments where all children feel valued and supported.
