Bio

As you know my name is Natasha Walker, and I currently teach 3rd grade at WES. What you don’t know is that I was born and raised in Dallas County. I was educated by the Dallas County School System until I graduated in 2000 from Southside High School. I attended Wallace Community College (WCCS), Concordia College, Auburn University in Montgomery (AUM), and Auburn University in Auburn (AU) where I received an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts, a Bachelor degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, a Masters Degree in Elementary Education and an Ed. Specialist. I am married to Joseph Walker and we have three children together.

When I am not teaching, I enjoy reading, movies, sports, and traveling. My favorite authors are Patricia Polacco and Cassie Edwards. My favorite subject is math, even though I enjoy reading. Two of my favorite movies are “Jane Eyre” and “On the Waterfront”. Jane Eyre is a movie based on the book Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte. On the Waterfront is a 1954, black and white movie starring Marlon Brando. I enjoy watching college football (War Eagle). I love visiting new places.
