I was born and raised in Greenville, Alabama and graduated from Fort Dale Academy. After attending a small school in my early years, I knew I wanted to go to a small college. The University of Montevallo was a perfect size. From the very beginning, I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I come from a family of many teachers. My mother taught family and consumer science at Greenville High School until she retired, and my aunt taught fourth grade at Wetumpka Intermediate for eighteen years. Finally, my sister Beth is a teacher; she teaches American history at Greenville High School.

I am married to Eddie Robertson, and we have three wonderful sons. Will was born in 2006, Jack was born in 2007, and Sam was born in 2012.  As you can see, I have my hands full. We are big Auburn fans and have season tickets to all of the home football games. I enjoy spending time with my family, working outside, cooking, and of course Auburn football.

I absolutely love teaching, and there is never a dull moment in my classroom. These children are also a major part in my life, and I love to see their faces when they are learning and having fun. This is going to be the best year ever!
